Kinderawesome!

Last Friday, for the first time, I left a Kinder class thinking I could teach Kindergarten. The teacher must be over-the-top, holy cow fanstastic! I have never seen a K class that was so well versed in the class procedures and expectations. The kids themselves were super sweet! There was a girl named Yoyo who pretty much was a yo-yo - she was all over the place and difficult. Other than her and two boys who needed a lot of guidance, it was the best day! I had so much fun.
One kid, Kevin told me all about his karate - so I told him to remember his name I would call him Karate Kevin. Hilarious! From that moment on, every time I would look at him, he would do some small karate move with his arms. I was laughing all day!

Hi! I found your blog through KauaiMark. I'm a sub too. I've been working as a teacher in one capacity or another for 17 years and kindergarten still makes me feel like a rookie!
